Play Therapy Northern Territory (PTNT) was founded in 2004 by Josephine Martin. She has an extensive history in children’s welfare and counselling.
PTNT specialises in Play and Filial Therapy. Play Therapy is the least intrusive and known to be the most positive form of counselling that allows your child to connect with the therapist. Studies have shown the world of play is a very effective form of therapy.
International studies have shown that Child Centred Play therapy can be affective with children as young as 2 and 1/2 years of age up to and including children whom are 10 years.
PTNT also uses directive play therapy and activity therapy for children whom will benefit most from it.
Josephine also conducts training seminars and workshops for other healthcare providers.
